- User settings can be changed using steering wheel controls.
- Parklight flashes indicate vehicle running status and diagnostic codes.
- Built in temperature sensing and vehicle battery monitoring. (Temperature and voltage displayed on DroneMobile and select Compustar RF kits)
- For safety and security the vehicle must be locked and secured for remote start activation and the engine will turn off during the remote start run-time if the vehicle is unlocked, a side door is opened, the hood or trunk/hatch is opened, or the brake has been applied.
- Micro SD card slot on board for firmware updates and diagnostics.
- To protect the vehicle and battery the remote starter will not attempt to start the vehicle if the battery voltage drops below 11 volts.
- Valet mode to disable remote start function.

Requirements:
- The supported RF kits are the Compustar Pro R3, Prime R3, Prime T9, Pro T11, and Pro T12. AM/AP series remotes are not supported. (Smartphone Interface and RF kits are sold separately)
- A spare vehicle key is required to be installed with the remote starter to allow the remote start to function. (Sold separately)

Finally… reprieve from the Alberta cold. I was a bit leery to install a car starter in my 2019 BMW X3 M40i, so I spoke to the Shop Foreman at our local BMW dealer here in Edmonton. He was very familiar with the product and had nothing but accolades to say about Eurostart. Usually dealers will push you away from anything aftermarket, so this was refreshing. After debating, I had the unit installed so it would work from my factory key fob. It’s worked flawlessly for over 3 years now and gets 300 feet of range with the factory key fob. Kudos to Eurostart for the best investment in my BMW!

I installed it myself with the instructions attached going slowly to not mess anything up. But overall, the outcome was a success. I really wish I bought the Drone smartphone interface though.

Truly it was such a great pleasure working with Darcy, who guided me to the right remote start solution for my 2016 BMW 535i. After several BMW dealers and local alarm shops stated that it was difficulty to add remote start to my vehicle, Eurostart shined the light on their product (BRS1 Remote Start) which works like a charm. Great product. I installed the BRS1 with a Drone mobile X1R on a 2016 535i xDrive M sport. The install was fast no complicated programming. Aside from the time to remove and reinstall panels it should take 2hrs total. No bench prep needed. Customer support is a live person, always a plus. Not needed by the way with the very clear instructions manual provided.

I installed the EuroStart with Drone option on my 2019 BMW 750xi on a Saturday when I knew that support would be available. While the installation took most of the day, both the key fob and Drone app worked flawlessly the first time. I reached out to support with questions 3 or 4 times throughout the day and Darcy picked up within 1 or 2 rings every time, emailed me some pictures to help with the project and followed up with me to see how it went.
I chose EuroStart because it seemed to integrate better with the car and because of the reviews I read about their support. Both exceeded expectations.
If you are on the fence about adding the Drone Module, I would definitely do so. Added almost no time to the install process while you have everything apart but adds a whole lot of functionality.
I would definitely recommend EuroStart and am now ready for the colder weather!

Purchased this for a 2017 BMW X3 as the remote start option was not offered during that time. Obviously, I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this along with the Drone adder due to the cost of the system. I have installed this type of system (remote starts, i.e. other brands) in other vehicles I have owned in the past. Most of which are just complete hack jobs to the wiring harness or control system for the vehicle. I looked at what came with the package and very closely at the wiring loom that came with the system as well as the no cutting required for installation comments. Then looked at reviews online to see what could be found. Finally, I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife with the IOU of installation. I had not worked on a BMW prior to this, so the total installation took about 8 hours. Mainly due to figuring out how the find and access the battery as well as looking up how to remove some of the trim pieces that are mentioned in the instructions. I had a couple of small issues with the instructions due to plug colors being changed during an upgrade and the airbag not mentioning being unplugged. Both times I called the customer service number and had an actual person answer the phone that actually knew the system and could help immediately. Once we got going on the installation and had taken a couple of the covers off the plugs it became apparent that this was one of if not the best kit I have ever seen for this type of installation. All of the components were top shelf items and made really well. The included tools allowed for the removal of the existing wires from the plugs without damaging the locking mechanism on them which allowed immediate installation into the new supplied plugs that were in the kit. The instructions were very good, and the wire plug diagrams were exceptional for laying out the wires you were looking for as the wire plugs are numbered, but only on the ends of each run. The picture of the plugs allows you to count down the row to make sure the correct wire is being removed, including it’s color. That is a long winded explanation of what I liked about the kit. After install, I can say that this is the best kit I have ever seen. It has actually been engineered to seamlessly fit into the control system with the forethought to develop instructions that are step by step and walk you through to completion. And the service was outstanding should you have any questions about the install. I could keep ranting and raving about this product, and if there were more than 5 stars I would have picked more. All I can say is that you will not regret this purchase, if you take your time and call for help if you have questions this will be a great experience for you as well. Hands down one of the best products I have ever purchased that interfaces with a vehicles electrical system.

Got myself 2018 BMW 740XI, unfortunately remote start was not available for this year and with cold winters and hot/humid summers in Chicago I’ve decided to get a remote start, after a little research it was down to 2 companies EUROSTART and other one I’m not going to say which one, but the second one did not offered phone app that I could start my car from anywhere.
Installation was not to bad, took me about 3 hours, the longest time was routing harness from drivers side to passenger side. Installation instructions were PERFECT step by step and each wire from the harness had a sticker to which connector and pin it belongs.

I’ve been a BMW Repair professional for more than two decades, working on everything from 1600s to Alpina B7s. I’ve installed both for myself, as well as a lot of clients over the years, many different aftermarket parts. With varying levels of details to their instructions.
I have to say the Eurostart instructions are superb and among the best I’ve ever used. Very happy with the product and results. Installed flawlessly the first time with no issues.
I would like to say though, they need to add to their instructions that the vehicle takes 10 seconds or so to start with the button press sequence. This led to me feeling like I needed to do it twice, and causing my horn to honk. Ultimately user error, but clarity would be appreciated.

I recently purchased a 2021 BMW X3 M40i without remote start. So I purchased the EUROSTART BRS7 remote start kit with the Drone X2 LTE to help out on those cold winter days, I also want to mention that I have no prior experience with automotive electrical systems or mechanics.
While I was thrilled to get the product installed, the installation process was nerve wracking since I’ve never taken panels off a car before and was afraid that they wouldn’t go back on correctly or that I’d break something. Thankfully the instructions were very clear, though I did get stuck on a specific step. So I decided to call the customer service number, fully expecting to be put on hold for ages and thinking I wasn’t going to complete the install the same day. To my surprise, someone answered immediately!
The representative, was incredibly helpful and patient. They listened carefully to my issue and then clearly walked me through the steps I’d missed. After that minor hiccup and two hours later I had the EUROSTART up and running!
Now that it’s installed, I absolutely love it! It works exactly as advertised. The product itself is fantastic, but the outstanding customer service truly elevated the entire experience. It’s refreshing to encounter a company that values its customers and provides such prompt and effective support. Five stars for both the product and the exceptional customer service!
